As with many of my writings, the idea for

Beyond the roar ... wom came in a flash

(see the chapter “I Have a Word I Want to Give You”

then grew into what has felt like a calling.

I am choosing to follow through with "giving

the word wom to the world," because

man/wom elicits such a smile every time I

think of and slip into the humming balance,

and because wom seems such a "right on"

resonating word to have and use..
