A Choice
You know what I like about the word wom? It sounds good. Already, after using it selectively, and only off and on for a few years, wom seems who I am. I encourage you to try it out. If you’re not ready to actually use the word wom, consider if you’re open to hearing it in use. When, or if it begins to sound good to you, tell a close friend. Try it on a neighbor. I also encourage you to stay open to completely changing your mind. You may decide the word isn’t right for you now, but that doesn’t preclude you having a turn of heart at some point in your future. The word’s interconnectedness bids us to reject rigidity. Links, lightness, and laughter midwifed this word into being. Let’s enjoy. Use the word wom, “if you choose.”3
